After reading a lot of feedback over some time, it seems obvious that many users are unhappy with the number of views a logo receives as counting towards a logo’s score. I also know that many new users misunderstand the scoring when they first join – so we’re going to make a change. Read more…

logosauce re-write question 2

Foreign language versions for non-english speaking users.

We’re rewriting Logosauce on the latest version of Ruby on Rails. One of the neat features of the framework now is Localization. Essentially we’re building the core application to handle localized content.

Recession proof?

Man it feels like 2008. Busy busy. Just spent 3 days solid behind the Mac with CSS for BrandFM. Now just have to hack IE6 support. Urghh, Just back from summer holidays and it seems like I was never away.

Email black hole

I just discovered an email black hole.

It appears that we have not been getting all our email.

When we setup email for Logosauce we elected to use Gmail and pointed out DNS mail record at Googles servers. This all seemed fine and we were getting emails. Read more…

Simplicity rules

I like simplicity. I know simplicity makes sense in a noisy world. I know less words is better than more. I know that we are surrounded by clutter that saps energy and focus.
