Bug fixes
A couple of bug fixes also out the door today.
- You can now delete your own logos
- CMYK uploads are now handled correctly and converted to RGB (for all you naughty CMYK uploaders)
- JPEG compression now reset at higher quality compression.
- Competitions now sorted correctly with latest competition at the top, oldest at the bottom (blog like)
- Change to scoring with views value reduced to 0.25

Thanks Digger, do you think you could’ve make that any more subtle? An entry to the blog might have been a good idea – or at least editing the line that still says ‘a winner will be announced soon’!
Overall, it was a bit of a waste of everybody’s time really.

I guess we weren’t happy with any of the submissions and therefore decided to stay with what we had. Can you blame us for that.
Nothing really stood out as being absolutely brilliant.
To be fair it was very early on and we didn’t have a lot of users yet – and certainly the number and caliber of the designers in the community is better than it was. Perhaps if we ran it again today we would get quite different results.
You’re right – I should have posted about the decision – but to be honest, I got carried away with other things and forgot to do it. My apologies for that.
And if the Rinke Design logo comp is anything to go by, obviously offering a tangible reward with perceived cash value works really well. We’ve all been impressed with the number and quality of the entries.
So do we have another go with the LogoSauce logo later? or are you all happy with where we are currently?
I also think we could do with some functionality change and consider a 1st, second and third placing.
