The LogoSauce Blog
New look for LogoSauce!
Hey folks
We’ve been thinking about a new look for LogoSauce. Here’s why and a look at a one concept.
I think it’s time for a fresh new look, that works across browsers better and has more impact.
1. Our CSS curved boxes are not reliable across al browsers (I.E stand up please) 2. Top of the page looks a little messy (in out view) 3. Logo a bit weak. 4. We’d like to see designs stand out more on the page. 5. Thinking the score and text elements under the thumbnails detract a bit.
The main changes I’ve gone for are more contrast, a brighter pink and no more rounded corners. Other changes include no more “names/ score/ comments” under the thumbnail to make it tidier.

Do you like it? Hate it? Do you need to see more screens?
We want your feedback and even better your suggestions.

This new interface is too “flashy”. The focus has to be done on the logos submitted not on the interface. I think it could be more neutral.
pink? too feminim i think. :).Recent face better than this new one.
Agree about the speed – we are looking at it. Our provider just updated XEN so we’ll see.
Agree with Kaimere, do a comp. but then would you want to do a ‘complete’ overhaul or enhancements?
No. The proposed new header is awful. Simple and easy to navigate the existing design is far better. Wouldn’t bother with all the web2.0hdear diagonal lines etc. either.
Agree with others about loading times. Much more damaging to your rep than a site that doesn’t work in older versions of IE.
The functionality is basically the same. The idea was to refine the site styling. Also remove unnecessary code in the page to allow us to update it more easily and hopefully better rendering times.
We are open to suggestions with the design, your welcome to submit designs! Maybe we should build a InterfaceSauce? GUI Sauce?
Just Have a contest! the new site isnt clean anymore.
Why can’t you see the score’s anymore without actually going into the logo?
OK so we’ve posted a new CSS look and feel and made some small changes – like dropping scores on the thumbnails, etc.
Give us your feedback as usual.

I quite like the new screenshots but the speed of the site is a bigger concern it’s getting slower by the day.
