The LogoSauce Blog
Newer look and feel
Don’t you just love CSS? We had a bit of criticism with the previous design so we made a few changes… What do you think?

But we have the sauce bottle back! Yahoo.
I must say it’s now easier to read these comments, etc.
like the feel of the site with the new color every thing looks so pure :P … just a small thing some of the entry’s in the comps are not Aline .
.java. which competition and what browser are you using?
i didn’t say hu sorry its the old construction company comp and the browser its firefox newest version of it ….
This is better, much better, but I still preferred the old design. Glad to see the squeezy back and must thank you for a great site.
OK I see the problem – we’ll get it fixed on Monday – hope you can live with it until then. Have a good weekend.
lol it doesn’t bother me at all its a great site peace out
Digger, thanks for logosauce first! Second I appreciate more datas on logo (such as comments and votes), so I like the ‘old’ – actual – logo. Of course You may tray to use a little bit of black or dark tones and two graphics thinks: – more rounded corners (you may also use xsnazzy for simple CSS implementation) – a fine idea can be a carousel on home page logos (You already use script.aculo.us – so there are http://prototype-carousel.xilinus.com/ and http://www.missingmethod.com/projects/glider.html )
old one was perfect, but this one is better than previous. gr8 that old logo is back. Simone Onofri said good that rounded corners are cool, like the old, and all other things.
I prefer the first site design. I’d be interested to know why you changed it. This site is abit too bright. Maybe choose a different colour to replace the red but you’d probably lose the “sauce” element. I’m glad you kept the old logo. Keep up the good work. Peace.
I personally think that this version is splendid! Much cleaner and with more clarity. really shows off peoples hard work well. Looks great in camino and safari and firefox. Overall a much better upgrade. Well Done! looks like people should be told to make smaller titles for the comp entires though
this is better, not great, but better. on another note, I’d like to request you put a limit on the length of time a competition is allowed to go till. This I see that last over a month, or some even longer is somewhat rediculous. I think Comp. Holders have a tough enough time getting back on this site to award winners as it is. For example, “Great Ink Deals” has been over for like a month and a half and still no winner awarded? Makes me want to participate less and less in competitions. I don’t know how others feel, but I just think some stricter guidelines need to be in effect for those who hold competitions…I do similar contest like work though other sites, and they seem to have a handle on allowable contest length, though they also have their own problems.. Sorry, for the length of this comment! Keep up the good work.
I don’t like this light grey. Maybe Black (like before) or dark grey could be better
Hate it! I liked the previous style much better. The new color scheme is unappealing and the design is not held together.
I’ve been having problems accessing the site from the US due to slow performance. In fact, yesterday, logosauce was down altogether. Is there anything you could do to boost performance and reliability?
We’re working on performance.
Is there a way to make a slideshow or presenter for all the comp entries like they have on flickr…....that would be awesome!!!!!! Thanks
Keep up the good work guys

Sorry, I have to tell you, that I loved the black version much more!
Ah!Looks more comfortable.Good to see the old logo
the main critic is that the page is very very slow. iI have 2mbps and its killing me
Bobek – Speed should be much better now.

Well the black was too much black and this is the opposite which is not always better. This might be too bright for some including me…..I kinda liked it the original color the best. I see we got rid of the beta in the logo…...maybe we should of kept that for now…..jk…....I can’t wait to see the final product…...thanks for the great site
