Jobs: Looking for a NZ Mac Operator/Designer (FILLED)
Logosauce.com and e-see.com is looking for a new Mac Operator/Graphic Designer based in Auckland, New Zealand.
Matt has decided to head off to a new opportunity focussing on pure web front end design, so we need a a Mac Operator with good basic design skills and ability to handle a digital camera and the adobe suite of creative tools.
Skills required: Graphic Design, Photography, Web/CSS, General IT skills
Tools: Mac, Adobe Creative Suite, Leica Digital Camera
Level: Junior to Intermediate (may suit new graduate)
Location: Mt Eden, Auckland, New Zealand (at cool architectural complex- Zone23).
Remuneration: Salary
Hours: 8:30am to 5pm
Role: Involves mainly handling, repurposing and publishing brand assets (brand id, artwork, product images, advertising) for a host of corporates, agencies and government clients. Includes digital photography of grocery products, web front end graphic design and some CSS web front end work.
Varied client base and creative content.
Small fun loving team who only drink good coffee.

Yes it is a cool idea to have this type of section.
..you may want to focus on improving the user experience of the current site before jumping into adding on a whole new feature/aspect to the site….food for thought ;)
Awwww man I would love to work with you guys but I am still in college starting my sophomore year this September. I love macs and designing stuff but I live in the US. The job wanted idea is good.

Now there’s a job I would LOVE! New Zealand as well! It would be a major move for me but definitely something to consider. I shall speak to my partner when she gets back from work and see what she thinks.

Heres an idea for consideration: Do you folks think we should add a job board to Logosauce, where companies wanting logo designers could list opening (job or gigs) OR where a designer can advertise for work (i.e work wanted).
