Unscheduled Outage
Hi folks
We had an unexpected outage during the night. Caused by Nginx and Apache fighting for the port. Nginx restarted itself. Steve now turned Nginx off properly and we should be sweet now.
Big apologies for the outage. Hope we didn’t ruin your day/night.
p.s we’re just prepping some changes to the site for comps etc – should be able to get done this weekend.

Hello Digger…There is error in your site. The score is resetted back to “zero” also the number of view when designer put on favorite.Thanks.
i have the same problem as andre—but only with the one logo i uploaded yesterday. and the one i uploaded the day before has disappeared…
Similar problem..I edited a comment I made on one of my own logos and the score reset to 0.
However no code changes made – so I don’t think any behaviour should have changed. I’ll check it out though – if you let me know which logo references.
Struve – I deleted one of your logos because it was casing problems – looked likesome problem with the file you uploaded. Pleas upload again and make sure it’s the correct file type.
am i uploading wrong? all of mine are uploaded as jpeg’s at 100 dpi or less…i guess i don’t know why some are ok and some are not.

Digger check the scoring system. I had a logo I put up this morning and it was at 10. I just got back and it was down to 1.
Update: Just noticed it was added as a favorite by some one….
I experienced same thing. I added comment to one of my logo, and score was reset from 10 to 1 (number of views also).
There is a bug in that during a session – each time you view your own logo or change your vote it is counted each time (this is incorrect). However once your session is reset the true score (as per the points rules) kicks in and the correct score is shown. The high scores that you are seeing are most likely incorrect. To check just position your mouse over the score on a logo page and you’ll see how the score is made up.
I know for that Digger, but this is different, and happened again. When someone add comment to logo number of views going to 1. I am pretty sure that i did not made all that 100 views by myself. And it is not just for my logos. It happens to logos from other users. Just trying to be constructive :)
Yes, there is definetly a coding problem. View counts and score are both being reset any time a comment is modified or deleted. Could it be that the coding is accidentally the same coding used for when a logo is replaced? Cheers.
@Digger, they are right, i just went to one of my older logos that has a score of 8 and something like 38 views ( i have not clicked on it for weeks) and i added my own comment and it not only brought the score down to 6, but it also dropped the view count down to 24, which makes no sense. heh, i was also wondering what was going on with view counts and scores. good luck fixing this.
I just saw that my total rating was about 2700 and now it’s at 2300….and my views has dropped from just under 11000 (where it’s been for a few weeks) to under 9000…..what’s happening?

Oh, so i am not the only one :) Well, if we are all “lost” 500 points, maybe everything is ok!
my view count and score got dropped dramatically on just about all my logos as well. hopefully digger will explain this week.
Maybe “mystical” karma thing is started :)

Yeah, I’m having the same problem: my logo http://www.logosauce.com/logos/13978 has ‘3’ views and yet 4 comments? (Ok, so two of them are made by me, but three of my friends have told me in person that they have viewed this logo.) Best of luck for fixing this Digger!

errr – to be brutally honest I don’t know what’s going on here – but we’re investigating and will fix it.
