I love this comment
I love this comment from Chanpion on a recent competition he won.
“Mate, you can’t get better than waking up on a weekend 550 bucks richer. To win in a competition filled with so much talent from other designers is an honor. Cheers.”
There been some who’ve complained about not enough prize-money – but many are having a great time with the challenge of competing against lots of other great designers AND winning some bucks when they win.
I think Chanpions comments say a lot for a positive attitude.

Great attitude chanp, wish that there were more like you :) and congrats on the win!
Chanpion’s comments very much embody the spirit of Logosauce :-)
a chanpion is a chanpion, what more could i say?
Mate, you can’t get better than waking up on a weekend 550 bucks richer.<--i hope i will be the next. he he he.
I just paid a bunch of prize money out – my Monday morning task … and there’s at least one user $550 richer this morning.
Thanks Dig :D
I love the challenge, its fun, and there’s no hatred at all. participating in these competitions is big help for us to improve our skills. I never won a competition, but I built a profile!
thanks Digger, and everyone. =o)
Whoa! A blog about my comment! and many thanks Digger for the prompt payment. It was much appreciated. And just to let all you folks know, the kind people at Yurko have also awarded me their stationery design project as well. So winning the comp is one thing, its a long term business relationship you establish with your client thats the great incentive. Keep up the fantastic work guys and gals.
That’s fantastic Chanpion. That’s exactly what we hope happens with every competition. But even without comps – a great portfolio is (we hope) going to help you win loyal clients outside of Logosauce. If you have a great experience we hope you share your story too.
Just to confirm digger’s point, I had a client contact me a few days ago, asking if I could design him a logo. He’d viewed my portfolio on logosauce and then signed up to Logosauce to get my email address. Also, after winning the AnalogX competition I’m currently working with Mark on a website redesign, which is amazing. And on top of that FindACamper also hired me to design some icons to go on their website, along with their new logo. So thankyou DIgger, if it wasn’t for logosauce I’d probably have given up on design. Now, thanks to logosauce, I can afford my own laptop, which I’m purchasing soon – woop! Plus I have met some great people on here. So thankyou everyone!!
ah tb1alexc – you make my heart sing with pride. Well done.

That is exactly the kind of spirit that makes it all worth it :-) great attitude champion, living up to your name.
Cheers
