Hello!
I’m looking for a clean and sharp logo to a swedish motorcycle community.
The community is swedish and called “hojen.nu”, which roughly means “thebike.nu” in english. We have motorcycle news, discussion board, blog, gallery and so on. We don’t focus on any particular brand or type of motorcycle, it’s open for everyone who likes motorcycles!
I’m looking for a clean and sharp logo that will be used on the website and also printed on t-shirts in the future.
I’m open to most artistic suggestions but have a few wishes:
- You should be able to tell from the logo that the site is about motorcycles.
- The colors should be about the same as the rest of the site, see http://www.hojen.nu
- I would NOT like the name “hojen.nu” to be included in the logo. I wan’t a separate logo and then the name “hojen.nu” on the side. Or maybe you could connect them in some way, like example 2 below.
- Not to much small details, makes future printing easier.

For some inspiration maybe, here’s two logos that I like:

- In number two, switch the car for a motorcycle and you get the idea :)
The competition amount is $150 for the source files(vector) + rights.
In addition to the money I can also offer some credit and links on my website if you want.

Hello again and thanks for all contributions! I have decided to extend the competition for another week. Partly because I haven’t decided which logo suits my site best but also because I think that there is more good logo-ideas out there!
In short terms I’m looking for a clean logo that can respresent motorcycles(keywords: motorcycles, motion/movement, speed). It should be in the same colors as the website and also vectorized for future printing. Thanks!
If you want you can add the slogan “Bikes don’t leak oil, they mark their territory” I laso changed my mind a little.. if you wan’t to use the name “hojen.nu” in the actual logo (like http://logosauce.com/logos/9436) that’s perfectly fine :)
