I should add a note that the logo will probably have to be inserted into a toolbar at some point. This means I would have a preference for logos that are longer than they are taller.

another note – after looking at several other competitions, I’ve realised this should be explicitly mentioned – It is expected that the winning design prize money will be for vector source files and full rights to the logo

another note for everyone – as this site doesn’t have a design yet of any sort, it would be good to bear in mind that the winning artwork will inform and inspire the colour scheme of the whole design. Therefore, little bits of borders, etc will help give me an idea of how your logo would do that.

I was commenting on all logos, but I’ve gotten a bit busy with things that need doing – I will catch up and comment on your logo in the next day or two if I haven’t yet !

The overall quality of submissions so far has been beyond my expectations, I’m really quite impressed – keep it up !

Thanks for everyones contributions ! I’ve been very pleased with quite a lot of the entries. I’m going to take a few days out to judge them, then I’ll get back to you all and let you know ! I’ll be discussing what logo I’m going to choose at the site blog if any of you wish to join in !
