The Brief
MediaLine is a web-based company that provides TV job listings to its members. Job seekers are given access to current jobs in the television industry while employers are able to post jobs positions. The logo should reflect the unique web 2.0 aspect of this company.
Medialine is a Television NEWS job service. Job seekers are tv news anchors (presenters), reporters, video journalists, sports and weather hosts.
Producers and news managers are the only behind-the-scenes job seekers using the service.
We are dramatically updating the look and upgrading the service line to a web 2.0 presence. See the old school in action at http://www.medialine.com.
The site also serves news managers in finding talent, agents in representing talent and broadcast journalism industry suppliers. Medialine was the first job service for tv news and has been the leader for 30 years.
Help us upgrade!"

subjectRe: Message from Leah on Logosauce
I’m very sorry it has taken us so long to choose a winner. There are several people from the company working together to come to an agreement. We will make a decision by the end of the week.

Leah, you may want to remove the client’s email address from your comment as it’s probably not appropriate to post it publicly unless they gave you permission to do so.
also, and this is in no disrespect to mykal, i congratulate him on his win, but it’s more a concern that since digital cable is going to be the norm in the US very soon, it will render the old school “Rabbit Ear” antennae useless, I’m a little surprised that a logo with such an element was chosen since it will be considered “dated” in the near future. Unless the client intentionally wants this “nostalgic feeling”, otherwise it leaves me a little confused.
