Printing Industries Association of Australia will provide Victorians (which is a State within Australia) with the opportunity to showcase their wares in the inaugural Printing Industry Craftsmanship Awards (PICA). This is the first time its being run in the State of Victoria. The Awards will celebrate excellence in the print, packaging, and visual communications industry and will serve as a benchmark for establishing and challenging the quality of Victorian printing beyond its already world-class standards. There will be approx 10 – 15 categories including lithographic printing, catalogues, brochures, Posters, leaflets, etc etc.

Please note that we just held the National Print Awards in Sydney last week. The National Print Awards celebrate excellence in the craft of printing in Australia — similar to PICA but its national. Please take the time to have a look at our brand because we expect a logo to be just as nice but different so that people don’t confuse the two. Just a point: if you can incorporate a diamond into the design then that will be our preference because we are thinking of awarding the winners with Diamond (aka Gold).
