Al Ain Class Motors
Profile: Piers Line
Company:
Opens: 13 July 2008
Closes: 20 July 2008
Prize value: US$250.00
Details:
Al Ain Class Motors is a used car dealers based in the United Arab Emirates with showrooms in the citys of Al Ain (thus the name) and Dubai. As their name suggests they deal in high-end vehicles – they currenty have a Bugatti Veyron in their showroom as well as numerous other prestigous marques such as Bentley, Mercedes-Benz, Ferrari, Porsche and so on.
A new website is in the pipeline but first they require the logo. This logo should represent excellence and superior quality; in line with the cars they supply the logo should reflect an feeling of opulence but retain an elegant, modern and sophisticated look.
Colour-wise silver, white and black are good and red (in small doses). Corny generic imagery of wheels and cars are probably a no-go but let’s see what you geniuses (genuii?!) can come up with… Oh and I probably don’t need to mention it but because we are in a muslim country, crosses that may depict christianity are best avoided!
If you have any questions please let me know, I’ll be happy to assist you further.
Thanks.

Thank you for the explanation Digger
Just got an email from Piers asking to change the concept because the client is unhappy with results. This sounds like a new competition rather than an extension – and a month has passed already. So we’re discussing. Will keep you posted.
Is the winner desert, Diger?
any progress on the winner being chosen?
thank you for the clarification
thanks for all your entries guys! They’re all excellent. I want to clarify the following question from Chris:
“Since Al Ain is the name of the city, should that be the emphasis in the logo? Or should Class Motors be the emphasis and the text for Al Ain be interchangeable with Dubai? Just a point of confusion for me. thanks, Chris”
Al Ain Class Motors is the whole name of the company – it doesn’t interchange with Dubai therefore I would suggest an emphasis on Al Ain.
Also “bfonder” has raised a good point – all logos should be ready to print, create signs etc as well as for web.
A used car dealership selling the bugatti veyron….was it sold back to the dealer because 1001 hp isn’t enough for the driver?

Any news here??
