We are contemplating a re-branding of “DVideography”.

We produce wedding and event (bar/bat mitzvah) films.

We want a new look (logo) and name that says we are artistic cinematographers and photographers. It needs to have bride-appeal, yet cross over into other social events like Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, high-end parties, etc.

The word CinemaCake came from a number of things I’ve seen, including what the folks at Layer Cake Films are doing on their site LayerCakeFilms.com and the name of a local photographer called Cake and Pictures. I see incorporating cute ideas like presenting our itemized pricing packages with “ingredients”.

I see imagery with frosting, sweets, etc. I see copy that discusses “A Rich Blend of Cinematography and Photography”.

Our new site will launch soon but I want to decide on a new logo and change the name from DVideography to CinemaCake as soon as possible. Here is the address of the new site which is not public yet: http://70.32.115.91/ As you can see the current name and logo in the upper right corner does not match the look and feel of the new site.
