This logo is for a forward thinking promotional products company. The slogan for the company is “Because branding is serious business†The focus of the company is to let our clients know that we are their creative promotional partner. We’re more than just t-shirts and mugs and pens, we provide solutions. We want to drive home the importance of brand image and set ourselves apart from the rest of promotional product companies.

Logo Details:
The logo must have a monkey in it must be fun and express creativity while still looking professional. We do not want a logo or color palette that looks juvenile or too cartoonish. The materials imprinted with this logo will be seen by business professionals.
Uses for the logo:
• Printing and embossing on business cards and letterhead
• Header on fax documents
• Elements on the web site
• Branding on promotional items
Logo Requirements:
• Clean lines and strong design
• The logo must be designed in spot color (limited gradients and fades)
• Maximum of 4 spot colors to be used in the logo design. (background color makes 5)
• You may use many shades of the PMS/spot colors but it must be spot color printable
• The winning logo art vector based design with .AI or.eps files available to us
• A black and white version of the logo must also be presented
• Hip professional color palette
• All colors used must be PMS identified (no cmyk or custom colors please)
• Logo should look good on light and dark backgrounds
• If you would like to show the logo as a business card that would be nice
• No virtual samples and mock-ups please (no vehicle wraps, t-shirt mock-ups or signage mock-ups)

Hi Everyone. The contest is going well. I would like to comment on the feedback comments. I have responded to every email that I have recieved. If anyone needs to reach out to me please feel free. don@tshirtbordello.com OR call me at 904 252 1699. The object of the contest is to use your creativity. I have givven some guidance in the contest outline. I feel that if I posted the feedback that others have gotten it would NOT be fair to those who have emailed me so far. The emails that I have recieved were very good and focused. That creative insight should not be posted unless the other party wishes to.
Moving forward I hope to hear from you more but I do not want to tell everyone what the logo should look like. That is why we are holding the contest.

I’m with you Ryu. I don’t understand why there hasn’t been real feedback thus far. This comp had a chance to be a great one and really bring out the best in people but I’m hesitant to invest a lot of time if I know there is no chance. I hope we’re wrong. Oh well…
im worried about this contest after those comments.. so i will not enter any more ideas. we have been here before and the comp has a ‘VERY REAL CHANCE’ of sitting without a winner after the contest is over… I really hope im wrong… and dont mean any harm.. im just being cautious.. have a good weekend. R
Isn’t it ironic how you say “serious about branding” yet come to a logo competition/spec work website? Sorry, i just don’t think that’s right
There are some great submissions here. We would like to see more of a modern look (more abstract maybe) in the concept. Our office looks like an Ikea advertisement. Think modern and retro mix.
