Scottish software company seeking a clean, memorable logo that is in keeping with their corporate feel. We are launching a web service that works in a similar manner to search services such as ‘You Tube’ (but with data rather than video). Site visitors will be able to search for reports, charts and graphs on any topic. Site account owners will be able to upload spreadsheets, manage data and create reports, charts and graphs for private or public use.
The product is FlexReports and there is a holding site at www.flexReports.com.

Hi Guys,
Here’s some input based on the submissions. There are elements across the follow submissions that we like:
1. Creative_Cubicle – Great font. Like the icon but try on white background. We’re looking for an image that means people think FlexReports when they see it….not sure the four lines do this…but near.
2. santesa2 v3 – Another great font. Like the idea of the graph representing the F. Not sure about it being in the button icon.
3. tarnishoar v1 – We like the idea, as the background flex image is good and in keeping with the web 2 simplicity. The favicon works really well and maybe just the ‘f’ in the background would work. The spacing of the letters just needs a tiny increase. The version we asked you to ‘flatten’ we don’t think works as well as the original. Your first version is better…may be worth experimenting with. A minor point but it is a ‘r’ (registered) trademark not ‘TM’.
4.santesa2 – v1. Great image / idea. Not sure about the font – see 1 and 2 for inspiration. We understand why the reflection is there but not sure how this will fit on our www.flexreports.com site without taking up too much space. Our strapline is ‘Delivering Data’.
5. EstweenOnFire. Great use of the green, really sharp.

Here’s some additional info that may help…
1. The green color used in our parent company logo at www.deltasoftwaresolutions.com should be included…it doesn’t have to take precedence but should hint. A slight variant on this color is fine (#62BE1B).
2. Style should be modern minimalist.
3. Our service works in a similar manner to social networking but using data charts and reports….so there should be a Web2.0 feel – You Tube etc..
4. Our strapline is “Delivering Data”
