Redblue Trading

Profile: Rickard Sandberg
Company: Redblue Trading AB

Opens: 04 March 2010
Closes: 25 March 2010
Prize value: US$400.00

Details:

Hi,

We are a company in Sweden that works with production and imports from China and sales in Sweden and other countries around the world.

We mostly work in these areas:

You can find our logo as it is now on our website www.redbluetrading.se. As you can see it needs to be updated.

Instructions: The company name itself refers to the colors red and blue so we would like to incorporate that still. If one color takes up more area than the other we would like that to be the blue color. We would like it if you could make a “symbol/shape” that can be easily recognized and put it together with the text Redblue Trading. See ie the logosauce logo. The text is simle but it has a distinctive “symbol/shape” to it. If it in some way can represent what we work with it would be great. The word Trading doesn’t always have to be in the logo so it’s good if that part can be “removeable” The logo should give people a good feeling and not be too bureacratic. However it should not be too playful either. We are a serious company and people should feel that they are in safe and serious hands when we deal with their orders/products. Also, if you have some good ideas that don’t fit in on all the above thoughts, please feel free to get carried away with those aswell. We believe that your ideas will be better than ours.

The logo needs to be in vector, fully scalable. It’s good if the logo also works well in pure pms colors and not just in full color.

I will try to give as much response and feedback as possible during the time this competition is running. Please also feel free to ask questions if you have any.

Kind regards, Rickard Sandberg Redblue Trading

@Ricco: Would be nice if you could give feedback on specific logo’s that you see as potential winners

One thought is also to use a globe and make something cool with that. For example Firefox logo, but maybe a bit less spaced out.

Thanks everyone who have posted logos here.

I see that many of you have included arrows in the logos. This idea is good at first and represents what we do. Unfortunately we feel that the impression you get from a logo like that is that we are some sort of recycling company.

So we would like to get more contributions but without arrows.

An aspect I would like to see also is logos where the main parts are for example grey and just some details are red and blue.

Than you and I hope to see more entries.
