My alias as a music producer and VJ is Pogo. I need a logo, image or character that represents euphoria, fun and attitude.
What is your primary objective for the logo?
- To create brand awareness around my work, my live events and my website.
Who’s your target audience?
- Ages 10 – 35. The young at heart. People into bright, fresh, electronic music that makes them feel good.
What would we like them to think or do?
- To listen to my music, feel entertained and uplifted.
What is the single most persuasive idea we can convey to bring the audience around to the desired mindset?
- Life is now. Live it and love it. Action is the best remedy for despair.
What is the appropriate tone and/or visual look that we can employ to convince the audience to act or think they way we’d like them to?
- Words to describe my music and videos: Dreamy, lively, motivating, whimsical
What are the “mandatoriesâ€/creative guidelines for this assignment?
- I love little cartoon characters. Thick lines, lots of expression and attitude. Think the Mighty Boosh logo and the face of Mickey Mouse.

@frenki posted this http://www.pogomix.net/new-official-logo. If this is the new logo created/selected elsewhere- that is disappointing. But he paid his money and hasn’t selected a winner – so I guess we declare this as no winner. Sometimes as a client you just know when you see what you want. I have no idea how/who the client wenet about this. I’ve written to Nick and and asked for an explanation.
Does anyone know when the winner is due to be announced? I don’t see anything about this in the competition terms and conditions.
Na it will just be a reason to make a forth page of closed entrys! But i’m sure Digger would have seen the link to the new logo and if they weren’t going to pick a winner he would have removed it so not to waste designers time, right Digger?
can you guys say that this was a big, fat waste of great design genius?! If a new logo was found independently of this contest…then we were all duped…apparently, we never had a chance…it’s only been a month…well, good job to all the designers and good luck on the next ones! Hope they are real!

I don’t know why he thinks I made the logo shown below, I simple just adapted like others have done. I clearly stated in the notes it was originally NOT made by me, but by Pogo.

Some really nice stuff, everyone. Here’s a bit of direction. I love these colors and the attitude, but I feel it’s just too sinister. Can we work off this as a foundation?
