I thought it would be cool to use an actual piece of furniture in the name.
Revision: I had tried to manipulate the chair to look more like the letter “d”, but after the comments made, here’s my original idea. I was just afraid that the letter “d” would not be apparent enough at immediate glance.

cool idea thidan but i thought you are using photoshop or something like that, these kind of programs uses Bitmap strategy and this is bad for smooth designs you cant ezpand your logos if u want to use in a big page, however illustrator, corel draw these are uses vectorel design strategy and you can design smooth things, if u want to expand your logo you can expand in the design and u dont have any losses or bad views. I m telling these because ur D is not smooth, in photoshop u can use pen tool to have a smooth well designs. I hope i gave you some good infos maybe u can already know those. and again idea is cool.

I agree with figo, its a very good idea. The Panton chair is a symbol of design. Keep working on it to improve the results, because they’re not the best at the moment. Try another type as well. :)

Thanks for the tips! The sad truth is that I’m absolutely brand new to all of this and simply using these projects to work on teaching myself the programs. As of now, I only have Photoshop, so any tips about making things smoother and better with this program will be greatly appreciated. Thanks again for the criticism and pleas keep ’em coming!
