While I understand your explanation…if there’s something broken in a logo or it’s icon, it doesn’t show strength for the company. It shows that the company is broken or damaged somehow. It’s considered a negative.

Ah, I had kinda though through that cwilk. I could be wrong as I don’t golf much, but once I heard an expert say that a perfect shot should shatter the tee in the middle. Thus, that tee signifies the perfect shot. :) ….

agree with Cwilk here. just having the broken tee alone is definitely a negative. what you could do is include the golfball going very far and have the broken tee as a supporting piece possibly. it could make it too busy, but maybe if it’s implemented correctly it could work? just throwing out suggestions.
