'New York Yankees' by +dellMark+

Owner: New York Yankees
This logo was not designed by me. It was actually created in 1877 by famed jeweler Louis B. Tiffany of Tiffany & Co. for an award that was given to a New York City Police Officer for showing bravery and courage in the service of his duties. It caught the eye of the New York Yankees (then called the New York Highlanders) and became their logo in 1909. It is still used on the front of the Yankee caps and on the chest of their home uniforms. Today the interlocking “NY” is the most recognizable insignia in sports.

Great to see some of these great logos. Make sure you are clear in your notes that you were not the designer. Can you get a better image Bobby? This looks pretty rough.
