Thanks for the feedback. Are there any things you would like to see changed in this version of the logo? Kind regards. Roel.

I really like this one. Its simple enough that you could modify it for different reasons. Sort of like the Google logo.
Thanks for your congratulations. I appreciate your comments, but could you please elaborate on why you think this logo is not versatile and adaptable? I don’t mind my work being criticised, but please use constructive criticism.

Yeah, Omixam… many times, I really don’t understand the brand choice… maybe, this all is just a waste of time.

WTF! I give up!!!!!!!!! it looks real delicious!! Well done on your win there but there were probally 50 other better logos in my eyes. Thats the way it goes i guess. Next time CH you guys don’t want a certain thing then don’t direct people in that direction, its about as unique as a piece of toast, thats about as constructive as i can get.
Again. I don’t mind my work being criticised, but please do so in a constructive manner. I have yet to hear one valid reason why my logo is not versatile, adaptable or unique.
There were several other logo’s that I personally liked.
Kariboo: your logo is visually very pleasing, I like it a lot, but I don’t see how it’s more versatile or adaptable? The colors look a bit bland and the composition of the logo is not very exciting. However, I would not have complained if this logo won the competition.
Nexqunyx: Your logo looks nice as well, but if you think my logo is way off, I wonder how you came up yours? Chocolate, cherries, cakes? In my opinion your logo could have used more real-estate and less food. But then again, that’s just my view.
omixam: I liked your concept, but in my opinion it lacks ‘delicious’. That being said, I do think yours was one of the better logo’s and I wouldn’t have complained if you won the competition either.
metadad: I respect your 25 years of experience, but to be honest I didn’t like your logo at all. I thought we stopped using @’s in logo’s in 1999. The colors also look very 90’s. Perhaps it’s just a matter of taste, but I don’t understand why you think my logo was that bad compared to yours?
Hippo: unique as a piece of toast, eh? So you think yours was the only logo featuring a cherry? Talking a about originality. Again, I do like the way your logo looks, but it’s in no way more unique than mine.
Please excuse me for going out on a rant, but I had to get this off my chest. Design is my passion and I do have quite some experience, but reading these comments is really discouraging. I’m very glad I won this competition and I realise the logo does need some work in its current state, but that’s also what Joe requested. I’m currently in the process of making some final adjustments and I was going to upload the final result, but if all I get is unfounded and negative comments I don’t see why I should.
Kind regards,
Roel

like that you work out ‘delicious’ unplayful, anti-web2.0glow and guide me to a gracht… • but at all this looks more like a technical illustration than a simplified, well accentuated logogram in the way i see it and i was trained to see it. • maybe it works better: with removed windows, more space inbetween, colored frame on the big (silver)house, owt rounded and even ‘delicious’ in bold n white on colored speech balloon to accent this element most (also if it stands alone), like e.g. the polyband.de • congreets. ps: remains the desire for explicit briefings or re-/de-briefings as well_

Well, it’s cute, simple, playful, it will actually reproduce well in a variety of media (especially lawn signage), but it is pretty far off the mark implied by the name “Delicious”, so I can understand some disgruntled feedback on that basis. No one likes having used that much of their time only to find they shouldn’t have been quite so literal. Also, we’ve learned to be somewhat skeptical of winners right out of the gate here at Logosauce. Anyway, congrats on the win (I like it for a variety of reasons) and I hope we see more of your work. Cheers.
I see what you mean =©.®=. and RetroMetro/Steve…This is the kind of comment that I do appreciate.
I interpreted ‘delicious’ from another perspective. The grey houses represent the vast majority of ‘boring’ real-estate and the colored house represents the ‘delicious’ real-estate. So instead of giving the word ‘delicious’ a specific treatment, I used the entire logo to depict ‘delicious real estate’.

I like this look and I like you went non-food and I like the simplicity. I think it has a good vibe and I like your approach. It’s in my top 5.
