Very good idea. It looks modern and scientific. Try to make it more conservative…..probably less contrasting colors will be more apropriate (only blue instead of blue and red). “Asset management” is also not visible enough, rearangment of the company name maybe a good idea. Here are some good examples of 3d logo designs : NYSE Euronext, Credit Suisse.
