LOGO UPDATED

Okay, over 7 years ago we actually created an authentic Coat of Arms for a client and had to do lots of research. We found out through this long process that you can’t just put anything on one of these. So based on your name, which is most likely a Slovic name, here’s the meaning behind our Coat of Arms for you specifically.

1. Crown has no meaning since we do not know if your lineage was royal or not. 2. The Crescent at the top of the crown is facing to the Dexter side versus the Sinister side to make it proper. 3. The 5-sided star can pretty much represent whatever you would like, but each point star does have a general meaning. 4. The Green band around the crest is a ‘Girdle of honor’ and means readiness to serve the public. Assuming that isn’t completely war related, it was put in here because you wanted Gold and the girlde reflects much of what the Gold meaning does. The Green means hope/joy and meanings of love. 5. The Gold color is generosity. 6. The Maroon in the crest is ‘patience in battle but victorious’. This is an inference of the Slovic background and the many wars that your family probably fought. 7. There are Primrose flowers in the Maroon areas of the shield that ‘bring good tiding’

Very nice I must say! Actually the Fleus de Lis is also Bosnia’s sign and has been used in that region for more than 2000 years and has no religious meaning. More info can be found here. So basically, add the lilly to the shield bottom as in third competition entry and could you please move the banner a bit down so that it’s sides are fully visible? BTW, what does actually “bring good tiding” mean?

Ok bring good tiding means bringing good news, good. Also please change that “Zejnilagic” to “Zejnilagić”, since that is the correct name.

Very fascinating read. Thank you for providing the link. My son is into your country’s background and history. He already speaks Serbian/Croation, so I was able to get extended information from him. I suspected the name was Bosnian, but couldn’t verify. I’ll make the changes and add as a new shield.

Could you try to change the banner as in Nikkib’s contribution?
