Notes:

This logo is for a utilities (electricity, water, gas, telecommunications) company. The logo primarily represents the ‘Power On’ icon which is universally recognised. The white inner arc within the blue circle represents the telecomunications side of the company. The colour blue was used to represent the water side of the company. The lower section can also represent the ‘U’ from Utilities. Designed by Tim Keir.

Reminds me of a ‘Power/On’ symbol on the Apple Mac’s. Is this the concept? more info would be good.

Excellent. Good to see more info. Why the two blues. 1 colour might have worked better.
