Notes:

This is another version of the “speech bubble” logo created earlier. This version has a different typeface and typographical layout, with a couple of little speech marks replacing the dots above the letters “i”. Again, this little feature makes the typography unique in it’s own right, and can be used seperately from the speech bubble, if so desired.

Beautiful!

Good idea Ry, this is better than the other one. I think it needs some changes to move from good to great. The speech bubble and the quote marks are perhaps stuffing too many ideas in one design. Also I don’t like the quote mark replacing the normal dot in this instance, it looks a bit ugly. The g+u thing is a bit ugly too. Try and make it more beautiful. Three tomatoes for your next iteration, probably.

Hi Mark

Thanks for the comments and critiques.

I wasn’t entirely sure about the quote marks and speech bubble idea, for the same reason you mentioned. However, I have to disagree on your comment about the quote marks replacing the dots above the "i"’s. I feel that this little quirk makes the logo more meaningful, and gives it a little personality.

I guess in the end, beauty is in the eye of the beholder! Once I get feedback from the client letting me know whether i’m on the right track or not, i’ll have a play around and see what I can come up with. But thanks for your critique Mark.

You are welcome. Just found an interesting link for speech bubbles.

Other examples here.

I’m torn between both the circular one and this one. I like the wordmark on its own the best.
