Thanks for the tips, there isnt actually a gate in this logo , so im a bit puzzled as to what you mean!!! :S But i can understand where your coming from about the community bit, but this is really my very first idea so, so im sure ill think of something that meets you requirements better! :D

I guessed you ment the mountain to be visible through a “gate” (the upside down V) – my interpretation of it ;-)

No Problems :) I have uploaded a newer version of this logo, to try and tie in the ‘community feel’
I like the idea of implementing rock climbing related elements into the letters. The mountain is stylized convincingly.
Though at the moment the gate (is it one?) flowing into the “W” looks not recognisable enough and the community concept mentioned in the competition description hasn´t been worked with.
Interesting approach! Keep it coming!
