The symbol next to the text works quite well. It has a clean look and shape – I dig that. You try to emphasize the community aspect with stick-figures, while that might work for a climber in action, those guys don´t have any personality. Everything is very static – nothing is moving, no one is climbing. Even the mountain seems to be damn solid through its triangle shape and the little ice on top.
Make it more wild, more active. Nature isn´t clean. The logo might be – not what it is depicting.

Nice idea, it expresses the community character, but the guys look a bit traped in a frozen mountain and the overall thing could be a bit more unique/exotic shaped
