Here’s my concept.
the icon 8’s formed by 2 drops of ink.
The concept is good, but the drops of ink aren’t really coming across. Maybe rather than an outline of an eight, you actually use two drops of ink joined in the center. Use light reflections to help bring out the eight’s shape. Just a thought.
