I like the way you have blended the DNA strand with the letters. I wonder if you could get a little more twist into the strands. As it is it looks a little like movie film rather than DNA. I searched Google images under DNA and Twisted DNA and found a number of examples that might give you some inspiration. I tried to paste an example here, but it would let me.

Can you play with this a little more and get the DNA strand a little more of a twisted look. Refer to jskhal comment.
