HOUNDS4HEROES seeks to alleviate the psychological suffering of our Nation’s heroes and to reduce the number of shelter animals in the United States. They aid military veterans, law enforcement officers, emergency first responders, retired service members and their families with rehabilitation through animal companionship. Saving shelter animals from euthanasia by providing them with a safe and loving home.

I have used a a yellow ribbon as part of the logo as a symbol of support and of a promise to be reunited. Every person with a pet knows the hearty welcome received upon return from any length of absence. I think the yellow ribbon is a perfect symbol of the unwavering support and warm welcome a pet provides.
