I’ve been into graphic design and illustration most of my life. Already as a kid I was always making my own “magazines” and other stuff. The first time I discovered Photoshop and FreeHand was in 1993 – on a small black and white Macintosh Classic. Since then I’ve been designing on the computer, but I still love to combine it with traditional techniques, drawing and handwriting. The past six years I’ve been working as an AD at a small advertising agency. I especially love designing logotypes, thus Logosauce has been one of my favourite pastimes lately! Although I must say that I find too many of the winning designs to be in that dreadful and tiresome Web 2.0 style (which I even sometimes have elaborated myself just to be considered as a contender…). I KNOW that the client is always right but come on – there are so many more ideas and styles to go for! Web 2.0 will fade away.
