About:

I am a highly experienced graphic designer based in Spalding, England. I like to use Adobe Illustrator as my main tool, it’s accurate and works the way I expect it to, ever since I started using it in the 1990s. But since I’m using a PC at home I sometimes use some of the great ‘bargain basement’ illustration programs such as Xara Xtreme and Serif Drawplus.

I prefer doing single or spot colour work, I think a logo stands or falls on it’s single colour or mono version. And I like to start by designing this kind of logo, not a 3D, shiny, reflecting, shadowed, textured effort with no beauty in it’s form or substance. I’m really looking forward to customers getting sick of the whole Web 2.0 styling cliches! Also skip Web 3.0, too predictable, let’s fast forward to Web F. Of course I’m using hexadecimal here.
